Hello,
this is starting to annoy me....
Normally, I create my characters from the base "character" when you add an atom. And actually, I just realized that it's this atom that has taken on a much more masculine face and a slightly more massive body than before.
I haven't downloaded anything in the meantime; I cleared the cache...it didn't help. ... overnight, the base atom became much more masculine, which means that all my characters created from this atom have square chins.
And no matter how much I try to refine their faces, this masculine chin and massive body impression remains. I'll take two screenshots to show you. I recreated the character Dee from the game Dating My Daughter, and it's most obvious on her.
Bigger, more "massive", all the physical sliders have been pushed upwards... an old screenshot, and the same scene on the right....no changes in the "morphs", and if I try to adjust the parameters, it completely deforms her....

I just tested the base atom with lots of different morphs, my own and from other creators - everything is looking fine.

How do you create and apply your morphs/looks? Do you have an early save of the look and is this also already corrupted?
Any plugins on the atom? Tried to set all morphs to default/zero before applying your morph? Any plugins for camera or postprocessing, Reshade etc.?

My first guess would be that you created your morphs not on the pure base atom, but one who had already some other morph(s) active, that you now may be missing.

Or if you create your looks with Blender and DAZ Studio, perhaps you changed the range of the morph and now the 100% morph is more exaggerated? You said every slider has been pushed upwards, what happens if you just dial down the morph a little bit? You could use the plugin for merging morphs to get a single one for the whole look and then adjust it, if you are not already working that way.

If you have your characters looking differently than they are made, you probably have what we call a "rogue morph". It's modified morph that has the same ID as another standard morph, or a morph that auto-applies itself to any character.
To test that theory : you need a clean VAM (zero dependency at all), grab one of your looks and only the usual deps needed for it. And test it.

If your character looks good in your clean VAM, then you have a rogue morph. The next step to identify that is... well... manually find what morph does that... good luck it's a nightmare :p

@Electric E-Boy suggestion is good. You could merge the character in the clean VAM, then inspect the morphs in the "bad vam".

Thank you! I'll try what you suggested (rogue morph).I checked what happened on the PC between the moment when "everything was fine" and "whoa, what's this?", and the only changes were that COMFUY and PYTHON updated. Regarding other changes, as I said, there were no downloads (VAM or anything else) between the two sessions.
Electric E-Boy: When I say the sliders are pushed all the way to the maximum, nothing has changed in the morph settings I saved.
However, as soon as I modify them, I have the impression that it changes my model's physique much faster than before. For example, if I select "fairy head," it's a disaster; as soon as I increase the value, my character's face becomes distorted. I'll show you a screenshot of my base character, you'll understand :)
"How do you create and apply your morphs/looks? Do you have an early save of the look and is this also already corrupted?" : yes, I'm saving my character files and all the modeling stages. Not all of them, but a large portion of my models are affected by the problem. For the one I sent you, all the saves, even the oldest ones, are affected by the issue.
In any case, thank you for taking an interest in my problem.

I didn't remember that "person" had such a big jaw.
I'm disappointed because my "Dee" model gained weight and got bigger in the butt in just a few days, her legs are really shorter and thicker...
Too much weightlifting? Anyway, I'll keep searching with your advice.

Besides rogue morphs (you never stop learning - would have been a great idea for a Vamoween entry: "The Rogue Morph" - a morph on its own mission to ruin your day) your faerie morph explanation sounds like you could have this morph two times active, so you get a deformation easily, but i guess you would know.

It is also strange that you can't just readjust the current shape to your liking. Especially the body should be easy to tone down. I would suggest morphs like "head width" and "head shape pear" and it shouldn't be a problem. If you want you can send me your scene/look and i will try to get to the original - although i am more of a beginner (i can sculpt custom morphs if necessary though).

And one last aspect: did you perhaps change the scale of the atom in general? Ignoring the subtle changes it just seems to be larger/bigger. At first i also thought about fov, but that is missing the usual distortion.

There is an easy way to fix the body though: you can easily use the mentioned morph merger and separate head and body, then you could just add every other body you want. Most looks come with a summarized head and body morph, so plenty of choices.

Also you could try special skinny morphs to get the body smaller:

Having multiple versions of the same morph pack could cause Vam to apply some of them twice, resulting in unwanted visible changes to the model.

Do you have any default session plugins? Those things frequently cause problems. I never use them.
