loading skin textures

When loading individual skin textures to a person (Diffuse - Specular - Alpha etc.) Vam takes me back to root for each upload. So I have to do multi step path retrace for each texture every texture load.

Is there a way to set the search so it remembers that I'm going back to the same file/path several times?

This is the same for anything that requires a file search. It would be nice to have the window open to the last directory. There is a tick box to lock the window open on some items (pose pretets eg), but it's not the same.
