Question is there an undo and redo plugins or something similar?

I'm using VAM for like 2 year and I'm really tired of the fact there is no an undo button.
lets say I created a perfect scene and wanted to make last changes and I accidentally moved the character all my hard work gone to waste 'cause if I didn't save the pose there is no way to go back

so I'm asking if someone created a plugin that can help!?

Short answer, no. Not technically possible within the current Vam, as I understand it.

There is an autosave plugin somewhere, though.

Autosave without undo is REALLY dangerous. At least the way it is now, if you really screw up something, you just reset and go back to your last save. Yes, there's lost effort there, but autosave might just save that last screw up before you can back it out. The only way around that is to save a new version every time you start editing a scene. Then you're into version management.

Well, if I hear "autosave", I assume it's something that saves every X minutes as a separate file, usually with a number or timestamp and keeps the last Y versions.

Apparently the autosave plugin on the Hub doesn't do that...from the description I'm not 100% sure I understood how often it saves :ROFLMAO: Well, it's what we have:

Thankfully I'm in a habbit of saving manually to a new file after every change anyway, so no need for autosave plugins for me.

I used this:
At some point as extra backup, just in case I don't wanna lose 15min of work.

It's session plugin, you can set save intervals from 1 sec to 60min, change save location.
When saving: it does popup save window for a split sec and it also opens UI (if hidden), but your selected atom remains.

Ah, that must be the one I had in mind....Hub search didn't find it ;)

OTOH, not having undo lets you get really crazy with scene mods in full knowledge that if it blows up, you have to reload the last saved version. I'm pretty diligent about saving my scene before making big mods like changing an appearance, or adding a new plugin I haven't used before.
