Ok this one is a _little_ bit far fetched, though maybe not that much. It would be nice to see which resources you already have. There's no way people can keep up with what they _did_ download and what they did not, and which version they downloaded. So, to make this easier, I suggest we display something on resources that shows when you have something (e.g. a green checkmark) and when you have it but it's out of date (yellow exclamation?).

The way I'd do that would be to have a simple list of your var files in your profiles (i.e. a comma separated list). You could populate it manually by selecting all .var files in explorer, shift-right click, copy as path, and paste in your profile. This could be done server side, or client side (the list could be put in local storage and checked with javascript).

Eventually that list would be populated by VaM directly.

We are planning this for the VaM integration of the hub! It will require that you login to the hub from VaM itself. Not sure this will make it in 1.20 or not.
