Question I can use some morphs on one of my presets that aren't available on another, how do I turn them on.

As the title states I have some morphs I can use on some characters, for example nasolabial crease (I think its a custom morph) but its not available on a character I'm trying to make myself. Is there some way to activate it?

I also have multiple copies of the same morph, I'm ok with keeping each version but not multiple copies of the same version, but they are not in my custom atom morph folder for me to remove. I'm guessing they are included with some of the downloaded characters I have, but is there a way to delete the duplicates and just keep one of each?

I'm new to VaM, I've only been using it for about 3 weeks and have spent most my time downloading things I think I will need to make characters and scenes, now I'm trying to create a character and tidy up the files a bit so any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any replies, even those telling me I'm an idiot.

Morphs used in one character or scene can be used on new scenes only if the morphs are pre-loaded. In the Package Manager, there is a tab for User Preferences. On that tab, there is a box for pre-load morphs. Check that box ONLY on the packages that you know contain custom morphs you want to use in a general way. WARNING: checking that box on too many things will make your Vam slower.

There's no way to get rid of duplicates. This is one of the flaws with Vam. Make sure you have the Only Latest box checked to eliminate old versions. Duplicates of morphs happen when somebody packages a morph rather than having it as a dependency. It's a trade-off. When you use a custom morph, it's best to get it from the original morph pack, if any, rather than from some random scene or look that happens to use it. This is how dependency lists spiral out of control.

Thanks for the help, I think I understand what you mean.

I want to turn on these morphs from the UniversalMorphCollection, So I just go to package manager and make sure its set to preload right?

Do I need to do that for every character I create or does it apply to everything from now on?

Any package that has morphs in the name should have that box checked. It's a preference on the morph package, not a character. It should be on by default in that package.
