How can I achieve the same glossy finish as the linked character? I loaded the author's scene, but the character doesn't have that glossy finish! I also loaded appearance presets, but they still don't have that glossy finish! I'm very frustrated! Also, how can I achieve the same background as the author's original link? Do I need to load a background image? I don't know how to do that!
I'm trying to use the texture overlay tool to select a specific texture, glossiness, or specular highlight, but I'm not being able to! Could you please help me? Thank you!

Well, a geoshell is one way. You might also ask @JackyCracky in the discussion thread for that look. He may have been using some post processing, or a special lighting rig.

Thank you! May I ask how to use this? Should I use that texture mapper to load it as highlights or gloss?

It's clothing. You load it like other clothing. Also, if you go to the original scene, click on Skin Materials 2, and change the slider for Gloss Texture Offset, she can look oily. For some reason, the scene has that set to 0, which looks dry. As usual with Vam, there are many options...

Thank you very much, my friend! I'll try it later. Thank you for your explanation.

As Slimer said I always use the Skin Materials 2 tab to increase gloss texture offset. But you can also use the clothing item indeed!
