When I run VaM in VR the framerate slowly drops until it's unplayable. It does this even on the VR main menu with no scene loaded, but also with a scene loaded. It starts smooth and over a few minutes it gets very laggy. The FPS counter in the settings menu shows this too, it's stable around 110-140fps for maybe 10 seconds and then it drops to 70-90 and doesn't recover. It then keeps getting lower over time. I've tried changing several settings in game and setting graphics to ultra low but nothing has helped yet. CPU, GPU processor, and GPU memory stay stable but RAM goes up very slowly. It feels like there's a leak of some kind somewhere but I don't know what it could be. This only happens in VR, on flatscreen everything is fine.
I'm running this on Arch Linux through SteamVR / Proton. I've tried several Proton versions and they've all had the same problem. I don't know what I'm doing different from other people running VaM on Linux.
