Since two days, when exiting VaM the UnityCrashHandler tries to contact the Google cloud:

UnityCrashHandler64.exe:
8.78.190.35.bc.googleusercontent.com

Why does VaM crash now? This problem appears even with a clean installation.

I use Windows 11, latest updates...

Thanks for any advice!

There is no possible answer to give you for the "why". If it was not crashing, then does now, you gotta think about every changes you made over these last weeks/months and pinpoint what could cause the issue.
It includes everything, like the usual computer problem/issue:
  • Windows updates
  • Drivers updates
  • New hardware installed on the PC
  • Hard drive space
  • Hard drive stability/health
  • Changes on the SSD/HDD hosting the game
  • Misc viruses/infections on the system
  • Changes on the VAM install (even tho if you say a clean does the same is probably irrelevant)
  • so on and so forth...

Thank you. The only changes were Windows 11 updates, so I hoped for many comments from other affected users.

Users are just gonna do what I did, just one by one. Someone is gonna tell you "that was my GPU driver", and another "I did not had enough SSD space"... since these problems are tied to the "user" (or if you prefer, the PC/rig/OS), you have pretty much a wide array of things to check with the list I did.

Additional things I did not mention are hardware failures ( testing RAM, GPU, CPU stability ). But since you did not mention any other problems with other games, I suspect it's not your case.
