Thanks! I’m looking forward to trying the fix once it’s approved. I’ve also had a couple of updates stuck in pending for a few days now, so I might reach out to a mod as well.

Having difficulty getting the neck to rotate forward as I look down. Instead, the head & view just seems to rotate in place like it's affixed to an immovable neck. Is there a specific setting I need to adjust for this?

The rotation reference is based on the initial possession point.
If you don’t want horizontal possession aligned to world scale, uncheck the toggle box shown in the image. In that case, possession will be based on the direction the character is facing.

If you want left–right rotation instead of roll rotation even when moving your head vertically by 90 degrees, as an alternative, click the ‘realign to head center’ button. This can also be triggered via external triggers.

Is there ANY way to have an option do deactive the Embodfy, but keep the view where it is? On deactivate, it goes back to wherever it was before the activate. I've been trying for two days to get Acid Bubble's version to spawn correctly on deactivate, but despite the functionality being in the plugin (combined with spawn point), it doesn't seem to work at all. Basically, I want the viewer to be able to ride an empty (as a camera) and then seamlessly have it turn off, allowing them the freedom to move. Please Please Pretty PLEASE??

bqbq updated embody lite with a new update entry:

fix7

Unnecessary legacy code has been removed, and the UI has been reorganized into category tabs.
also added a toggle that lets you choose what happens when possession is released: return to the pre-possession viewpoint, or stay at the current position.

The code related to splitting features into group tabs was referenced from moyashi post-processing plugin.

Hi. The new minimalism is truly minimal:) Let me ask a question. I wanted to implement a scenario for desktop use so that the movements weren't so static. The goal is to simulate a neck stretch, as if we were peeking around a corner. With the "Position Smoothing" setting, while holding the right mouse button, we can do something similar, but the problem is that the camera returns automatically. The question is, is there a setting to stop the automatic camera return until I release the right mouse button? Thanks for your attention.

That would require the position ownership to be based on the user’s camera or HMD viewpoint, rather than the possessed target.
Unfortunately, I haven’t implemented that feature. It isn’t really needed for the scenes I’m currently making.
I did try a quick test, but for now it caused an ownership conflict.

I’ll consider it when I have time.

Just wanted to say thanks for this, i was just recently stumped in a situation where i needed to toggle embody's hide geometry settings via triggers and couldn't. tried saving different embody profiles and loading them via triggers which also isn't an option. I haven't had time to try this out yet but watching the videos, this looks awesome.
