Double / Triple / Quadruple (and so on) ratings for resources?

I just stumbled across this:

So there's several ratings from the same user because the version of the resouce changed? That's no improvement to me, was this always possible or is this a mistake? Or is this intended?

I think it is just no problem, because only one/the latest rating counts, afaik.
I hope it is that way and that it is intended. The reason: If someone makes a low rating and you improve your resource based on that rating, the person can make a new rating and only that one counts.

This was always possible. This is not new, and not really recent

I'm not sure of the weighting tho. I can ask Ash to confirm this, but only one rating counts if I recall properly.
