VaM 1.x DLSS5, differences and benefits

We all know DLSS5 is out and people are coming addicted to it. My question is: Is DLSS5 really worth it using it with VAM? If so what's the difference when using it with Vam? and without it? Benefits?

Jensen&co even agreed to acquire hugging face, which is essentially a huge datasets of diffusion models. A few years from now we may be looking at something on a completely different level. I can understand why NV is moving in this direction, getting more performance from traditional chip manufacturing is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive. At some point you either keep pushing the hardware itself, or you start changing the way that hardware is used.

Well said. You've pointed out something many people haven't said aloud. This is what I meant by Nvidia's deception,

perhaps it's their strategy to inflate prices for their next-generation 60-series graphics cards.

That's why I ultimately chose the RX 9070 XT. To be honest, I preferred the 5070 Ti or 5080.

Back then, the price difference between the 9070 XT and 5070 Ti was only $150-200,b ut now Nvidia's inflated prices make buying it completely unacceptable.

btw newest on the net is twin GPU to run the DLSS5, Oh my gosh!

Well thats confusing! DLSS 5 is property of Nvidia not Radeon. So you need a nvidia gpu. I don’t understand how it’s possible to run DLSS 5 on a Radeon GPU. If so Please explain ?

(AMD RX-GUP) FSR can trigger NR working by dlssnr_on_amd_setup , Only problem is VAM wasn't a native FSR game.

Based on my testing [dlssnr_on_amd_setup], DLSS5 on the RX-9070xt couldn't be used with VAM; I was just one step away from success.

VAM needs FSR base support to trigger the DLSS5 NR.

Currently, it seems other FSR games might working with dlssnr_on_amd_setup.
