Hi everyone,

I'm trying to make a voiced scene (using Timeline), which also uses "idle action" plugins with breathing (I've tried Life and E-Motion). I've noticed that the dialogues are interrupted sometimes before the end. I suppose that it happens when a breathing sound is initiated by Life/E-motion while the dialogue is still plying, efectivelly interrupting it. Is that correct? Is there any work-around that?

Dialogues are initiated by Timeline triggers with the settings as on the picture below. I've tried also different Receiver Targets, including "Play Now" (didin't help) and "Queue", which seems to help, but dialogues are out of synch, as apparently VAM is waiting until the breathing sound ends.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

For plugins like that which introduce breathing, my approach was to disable the plugin(s) before the voiced animation started and reactivated it at the end. This was for short animations and the person not breathing for the couple of minutes it took was nothing noticeable.
For combinining with randomised voice sentences, say dirty talk during a sex animation, because I wanted the breathing and the voices to happen but not simultaneously, my procedure involved a sequence of disabling of the breathing plugin(s) and jaw audio, trigger the voiced sentence, and a reasonable delay trigger for the breathing plugin to reactivate.

From my testing MacGruber Life is coded by default with play now clear queue and will not play with audio simultaneously. It will take over the head audio source and basically block anything from playing with it or clear it out the queue when it starts.

Vammoan is coded differently and will play with other audio as it is designed with play now by default. What this means is if you use another plugin like AudioRouter or AudioRouterAB and set it to play now for voice lines, it will play alongside Vammoan.

I mention this in the description info on AudioRouter as well...

Thanks, guys, that answer is what I've expected.

As I tend to use E-motion and fixed voiced dialogues, I have no choice but to addopt the technique to disable E-motion sounds before each voice line and enable it afterwards. However it's not a long scene with probably 20-30 voice lines, so it's doable.
