I've reprocessed audio files distributed under the CC BY license into an asset bundle and created the tracks the way I wanted.
So, I’m wondering if it’s okay to reprocess the audio files within a plugin made under the CC BY-SA license and post them on the hub?
I have a general understanding of the copyright concept for CC BY, but CC BY-SA seems a bit different, so I’m asking for clarification.

To summarize the question briefly, it would be: 'If I specify the source and credit the original author, is it okay to upload the audio asset bundle to the hub?'

CC BY : Means you need to credit and you're allowed to modify the license.
CC BY SA : Is exactly the same but SA Means "share alike", you would need to keep the same license.

Hello, hazmhox.
Would it be an issue if I extract the audio from your Vammoan plugin and use it as part of an asset bundle?
I understand that Vammoan is licensed under CC BY-SA. If I were to use the audio files from it, would that be considered stepping outside the same license category?

I finally understand. It means that when reprocessing CC BY-SA copyrighted materials, the license must be kept the same.

Yeap. If you use a CC-BY-SA, then your license needs to be CC-BY-SA.
You can use VAMM if you want... but you could also simply load the assetbundle itself as a simple dependency, especially if you don't transform the samples.
