So, essentially as the title says, I'm currently running a 3060ti and for VR it can barely keep up, 1 model with SSW enabled in VD just about works.
I've been wanting to upgrade, but am torn between the 4070 and 7800XT, I was hoping that the 4070ti would cause a pricedrop in either of them, but so far in my country that hasn't happened, in fact the 4070 is still more expensive than the 7800XT.
Normal benchmarks comparing the two show the 7800XT being a bit ahead of the 4070, but there are 0 benchmarks to be found that focus on VR, let alone VAM performance..
Apparently AMD has fixed their driver issues regarding vr and AV1 is supposed to work like a charm now (or so I've been told).
Does anyone here happen to have either of these cards and/or is willing to shed some light on them? Especially when comparing them to the 3060ti for VAM in VR mode
