The missing packages list in the package manager (on the bottom left) shows a very long list of missing packages that I actually have, but more recent. I understand wanting to reference the "right" version but it would be nice to show a _missing_ package and one that doesn't have the right version (e.g. in yellow)

Also the Scan for hub button didn't do anything 🤷

Actually, the Scan Hub button in the package manager didn't do anything because I didn't accept the built-in browser (which I appreciate as a feature by the way!).

The feedback about the missing packages v.s. "I already have a more up to date version" also applies to the missing referenced packages window in the built-in Hub browser.

The feature, by the way, is extremely nice!

A small suggestion, there's the "box" icon in the clothing/hair window which allows going to the Hub pages in two clicks, but it's hard to come back to where you were. Having an icon to open the hub page directly would be nice, mostly because closing the hub browser will bring you back to where you were instead of on the package manager.

Sorry for the spam, I think this is all closely related... for scenes there's the "package info" button at the bottom, a "open in Hub" would be nice for the same reason as the previous post!

@meshedvr just had a chat with one of Timeline's users who also had issues with many scenes depending on many versions of Timeline, cluttering the list (when in this case you usually just want the latest, with maybe a few exceptions).

Because this thread is a mix of multiple request, the "problem" here is having tons of packages marked in red because they depend on a specific version of Timeline (e.g. 4.0.7) when you already have a more recent version (4.0.13). You can't say for sure that it'll work, but it would be nice to either just show it in yellow so we can see actual missing dependencies v.s. having more recent versions.

I think I have addressed everything in here in upcoming 1.20.1.6:

I have implemented the tweak where missing dependencies are shown in yellow if another version of that package already exists: https://trello.com/c/UhVfKj7g

If you click the Scan Hub For Missing Packages button it now pops an error if the Hub is disabled: https://trello.com/c/FMd1IO32

There is a new Open On Hub button in the package manager which replaces the Find On Hub button. This is only active if the resource is on the Hub: https://trello.com/c/aziUP66q

I have added Open On Hub buttons to both clothing and hair items in the Package Info section which allows quick click back and forth from Hub back to the item: https://trello.com/c/Tcauk0j4

I also added Open On Hub button to the file browser when browsing a directory in a package that is found on the Hub: https://trello.com/c/0coX18ai

This feature is great, I have one additional suggestion: Scanning saved looks/appearances for missing packages also.

My particular use case is that I was using EasyMate, but I've decided to start over without it to speed things up. I had a bunch of saved looks, and moved it over to my new install hoping the scanner could just automatically download everything, but sadly not.

As it is, it is easy enough for me to load each look and use the error log and copy over the missing vars since I already have them, but it would probably be useful to a lot of people if VAM could scan look json or appearance vap files in addition to scanning vars.
