The convention hall was emptying out when I spotted Elise Stardust still in her purple-and-white cosplay, headphones and twin tails perfectly in place. She was packing up her display when our eyes met and she gave me a playful little wave. A few minutes later she walked over, still fully in character, and asked if I could help her carry a couple of boxes to her car.​

Outside, away from the crowd, she suddenly stopped and turned to face me. “You’ve been watching me all day,” she said with a teasing smile, already starting to unclip the front of her outfit. The shiny material fell open, revealing her bare breasts as she stepped closer.​

“Want to see the rest of the costume come off?” she whispered, guiding my hands to the remaining straps. By the time we reached her hotel room the cosplay was gone completely, and Elise pushed me onto the bed with the same confident energy she had shown on stage.​
