Merging textures did not work.

Rotating textures is problematic because it only rotates one direction

Positioning textures in VR is impossible (example eye makeup). Need to to micro move textures instead of using the VR headset as the targeting system. Probably ok for tattoos which are not precise locations.

Merging is in Game only, and works as intended. The rotation issue is a simple slider fix and will be in the next patch. Editing is not VR compatible at all, and doubt it will ever be due to the precision needed.

May I suggest that you add a feature that allow export the decals as clothing items(like without sim)? So we can find the exported decal clothings in the clothing tab, and this is especially useful for making eye glowing effects in a much easier way with the help of another great plugin called EmissiveClothing. I think you and Blazedust (author of EmissiveClothing pluin) might as well work together to make any body parts glowing!

The addition of moving the decals is the absolute best. Finally I can build tattoo Profiles of a bunch of pieces or patchwork pieces and build a proper composite tattoo from within VAM. No more overlapping! And the export for the copy of the edit makes it super easy to separate things with an editing tool

How can I live without this plugin now? 5 TRILLION STARS! I wont ever be able to play VAM 2.0 when it releases in 2031 if this plugin doesn't come out with it!

nice work, its a great improvement and a great tool. I dont want miss it anymore. Many thanks.
some bugfix info. If i load e.g. 20 Torso decals of different size and position, and trying to blend (slowly) in via Acids Timeline, then some of the Decals begin during the blend in phase to flicker. The strange thing is, if i push the decal from e.g. place 4 to somewhere above place 10-12 then its stopping the flickering. Some decals also hide others under some circumstances,
although they shouldnt cover each other.

some ideas for improvement:
the video player for mp4 is great, but gif would be better. Gifs can be have transparent background, and so you could use it for e.g. animated sweat etc. Thats dont possible with mp4 because they are not so easy editable and dont have transparent background.

some resize and replace possibility would be also good, but then you have to save for each decal also the position. I dont know how good that would work, but it would make decal textures development much easier and more flexible.

Thanx for the good work. Its a must have it tool.

The plugin shader can have ~10 layers, for more layers it has to bake those 10 into one texture and add it to a new shader as the first texture plus next 9 textures. etcc until the full stack is a single texture that VAM can use. I will check and see if I can replicated the flicker under animation.
The video system is still experimental and incomplete. It is using unitys built in player, and Unity lacks native gif support. I am going to add greenscreen (user choosable color) code to the shader to allow transparency on Decal levels.
Resize/move is something I would like as well but the math just gets over my head when dealing with cross uv boundaries.

This is great, what I've been looking for. One question I have though is are the layered decals only saved in the Preset file? Is there no way to combine them into its own new .png file to use and apply in the Skin Textures tab like other decals?
