You may have noticed some changes on the Hub recently in the form of little hearts on all the resources.
We are excited to introduce our newest feature:
Favorites
Here's how it works:
How to favorite a resource
Resources can be favorited by clicking the heart icon in the resource list or on the resource's page.
Favorites will appear in the favorites tab on your profile page
To change who can view your favorites, visit your account privacy settings
Favorites can be saved into collections. "All Favorites" and "Uncategorized" are the default collections. To view a collection, click on its tab
To create a new collection, click the "Add Collection" tab
Here you can enter a title and brief description for your collection. Leaving these fields blank will create a new "Untitled" collection.
When adding or editing a collection, you can also choose the "Private Collection" option. Private collections will only be visible to you, regardless of your account privacy settings.
There are two ways to add favorites to a collection.
Select an existing collection to load the favorites (I will be selecting "Uncategorized").
Method 1: Click the "cog" icon to edit an individual favorite.
Method 2: Select one or more favorites by clicking on them to bring up the action bar
Notice in the "Uncategorized" collection, the only options are "Move" and "Delete".
If you have created a new collection, you will have additional options "Copy" and "Remove". "Remove" will remove the favorite from the current collection, where "Delete" will unfavorite the resource and remove it from all collections.
In addition to sorting Favorites into collections, you can also drag and drop favorites into a custom order in your collection. This custom sort order will appear when anyone is viewing your collection.
To drag multiple favorites, simply select more than one favorite and you will be able to drag them as a group.
For additional view options, you can click the "Grid View", "Stacked View" and "List View" icons. The default view is "Grid View".
Here is an example of "Stacked View"
And everyone should be familiar with "List View"
Sharing, Reactions, and Favorite Scores
To share your Favorites Collection with others, simply click the "Link" icon and a shareable link will be copied to the clipboard
Here is the link for my demo collection: https://hub.virtamate.com/members/ashauryn.11965/?shared_collection=8#favorites
To leave a reaction for someone's collection, click or hover over the "Thumbs Up" button when viewing a collection. Note: you cannot react to your own collections.
Members will now have "Favorite Scores" which will show how many times their resources have been favorited in total. This will also serve as a new rank on the "Members" page of the Hub.
Individual resources will also have their own "Favorites" scores, and with the new filter options you can sort resources by how many times they've been favorited.
Those are the basics. If you have additional questions please post them here!

Note: There is currently a small bug where the "remove reaction" option won't appear until you refresh the page.
