BrowserAssist

Paid Plugins BrowserAssist

I've just checked, I've created a new scene, added a Timeline Plugin to the person, imported previously exported animation, saved everything as the plugin preset, restarted VAM (to be sure - sometimes Timeline plugin cannot get rid of the animation without restarting VAM), created a new scene with a empty person again and loaded a saved plugin preset with Timeline. It loaded the plugin with the proper animation inside it. So it is possible.
As for a native scene animation - I have no idea how to check it.
Well sounds hopeful. I'll look to implement it as an import at some point.

BrowserAssist v1.20.2 Update

New Features:
  • Save Presets directly from Scenes. Similar to importing, but now users can create new PErson and Atom Presets directly from a Scene without loading the Scene.
  • PluginUI settings to disable the <New Atom> target option for Import
  • PluginUI settings to disable disk caching of Scene Import files. This will save disk space but slow down scene import browsing and importing between BA plugin reloads.
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue that had disabled all...

This is a great feature. Just one note - if it is possible to automatically put the original scene name (filename) to the appearance preset SAVE window, that would be great. If there is more than one person in the scene, it should add a '_01', '_02', etc. suffix. If it is not possible, just a button 'Copy highlighted scene name to clipboard' would be enough.

Ah yes, I forgot to do that. I'll add it in soon. I'll probably base it on some combination of Atom name and scene name.

I have two questions to ask. Can I subscribe for a month and receive both of the plugins you created at the same time? After 3 months of obtaining the plugin, you updated the new version. Do I still need to subscribe again to obtain the update?

As a patreon you can download the latest versions of all my paid plugins. If you unsubscribe, you will lose access to any updates from the next calendar month.

how delete the files that i dont need with "browser asist", or delete the hidden files. thanks !

It would be cool if something like this was included in BrowserAssist. Basically what this does is add it's own modified scene viewer/hub browser that detects a second VAR folder and allows you to preview/download requirements for all VARs in that folder. This way you can see your entire VAR Database in-game (for me, nearly 30,000 VARs) and it doesn't slow down. The best part though, is if you click a file you don't have installed, it automatically moves that VAR and it's dependencies to addonpackages, then loads it. It essentially gets rid of the need of a "VAR Manager" and put everything in-game. Incredibly useful!

Using both is fine, but having BrowserAssist be able to do all this stuff would be incredibly useful... though probably a lot of work to achieve.

BrowserAssist v1.22.0

New Features:
  • Support for Session and Scene Plugin Preset resources
  • Option in plugin setting to enable Plugins referenced from plugins with .csList file extensions. By default, any .cs plugins that are referenced from a .csList file are not separately visible in BrowserAssist. In most cases this is valid as the .cs plugins are only meant to be run in combination with all the files referenced in the .csList - however there are some exceptions.
  • The M key now hides the...

I'd like to request an option to filter the clothing list to only what the model is currently wearing. Because now I have to go back to the built in clothing browser to do that if I want to selectively remove a bunch of stuff.

We need to enable the UI button in the scene to open the BrowserAssist interface when clicked, such as clicking the clothing button to directly open the BrowserAssist interface for clothing selection. This is necessary because the UI button has unique advantages and is commonly found in the scene, requiring support for event calls to directly open the BrowserAssist interface. Currently, this can only be done through shortcut keys, which is inconvenient, especially in VR where we do not use keyboards. 😄

Hi,
Happy new year!
I just subscribed to your Patreon and got the BrowserAssist plugin.
Can't say enough good things!
It really changed the way I use VAM, to a point where it was frustrating and time consuming to a very great user experience!
Incredible good work :)

Just wanted to give my contribution to flag a potential bug I've been encountering after a week of ue:

Free mouse look with keyboard press Tab causes the interface to freeze on BA
When the interface of BrowserAssist is shown, if I press Tab on the keyboard to do mouse look, the view get frozen and the mouse pointer gets stuck or very laggy.
The worst case scenario is when you can't unfroze the pointer/mouse/view hitting Tab and the only option is to restart the game.
Meanwhile the game seems to be working (characters in the scene are playing animations correctly)

Please let me know if I can help! Thank you for your superb work.

Love the progress, and its an invaluable tool.
I hate to ask, but I bet there would be interest from others as well;
Can we get a selction option that allows the user to select 'non favorite' only?
I.e.; "hide favorites"

This would help me determine which ones I'm neglecting :)

This is really an amazing plugin.
Thanks for that.

Sadly i couldn't figure out, how to remove an own created tag.
Would be glad, if anyone could help me out.

And how can i make the plugin load automatically by starting vam?

You would have to open the menu, select 'single', and look at the lower panel. Select the 'tags' tab
Uncheck the tag for that asset.
