Tell me what is the problem and we will try fixing it. As that’s a completely new and fresh app - I need to gather issues and solutions 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻
It was something conflicting with one of my other pluggins. I did a fresh install and it worked fine. I'm going to install one at a time to see which one it was.

GUYS!

Here's recommended setting for oculus debug tool.
It's confirmed, some things here breaks TT work.

FOV-Tangent Multiplier can be left default.
(PC) Asynchronous Spacewrap turns off automatically by TT

Video Codec is critical, use H.264!

Encode bitrate can be changed for your liking.
Hope it helps!

Slightly off-topic since it's most likely not with the application itself, but thought maybe there's some advice to be had from those who managed to get it working..

When trying to launch I get "FAIL: XR_FB_passthrough functions unavailable."

From my searches so far I guess Meta decided to disable/hide some of these these functions regarding allowing passthrough over link etc., and I have no Beta/Dev menus in the Link application anymore.
Tried some registry entries that were suggested in forums, but same result. Re-installed drivers and a fresh install on another computer as well with same result.

Why don’t you have beta/dev? what is the link version?

Well, Meta being Meta it seems.

Meta Horizon Link version 208.0.0.84.535 (208.0.0.84.535)

Edit: Seemed strictly required to change Meta VR account to developer now, the menu options I used to have re-appeared after doing that.
Now the passthrough on link seems to work.

I removed all session plugins, it's working!, but there's a new problem: my VAM scene character model and hand has a strange black ghosting effect.
Hey, did you manage to fix that ghosting effect?

I think it's the same I got (after fixing the passthrough), it seems Meta has random software issues as usual, and this affects AirLink specifically in my case.

I can't find the specific thread I saw on it earlier, but related I guess:
Seems some had it, for some it was fixed, for some it re-appears.

One recommendation was factory reset, didn't help. On link cable however, no issues.
Recommended to turn off Sliced encoding in the debug tool, so that's next on my test TODO.

Got it, thanks. Just want to make a FAQ for new users so they could quickly solve those annoying issues

Yep, sliced encoding off didn't seem to solve it, but good news is - seems some other setting did.
I disabled a bunch in one go just to see if anything would help - and it did.

I'll try to test a bit back and fourth and see which setting seemed to do the trick. Interestingly enough my Spacewarp setting went from already set to Disabled to suddenly show Default after first restart, so Disabled it again.

TT launcher turns ASW off with the VaM start, so it should not be the problem. I Honestly hate asw, it works so bad

I just want to express my sincere appreciation! This is an absolutely amazing idea and tool. It works really well on my system, and the VR passthrough experience is fantastic! It completely outperforms VD's chroma key-based passthrough approach.
There are still a few minor issues, though. For example, Assembly-CSharp.dll seems to have some compatibility issues with BrowserAssist. But overall, this is fantastic work, and I can really see its potential for the future.
This project is proof that you've got a great idea and are heading in the right direction. Thank you so much for your work. You're absolutely awesome! (y) (y) (y) (y) (y)

Omg thanks! New update is coming soon! Let me know, if there anything else you'd like to see there. As for browser assist - gonna check it, thanks!

Honestly, I am just getting more and more confused.
I thought I knew the settings that solved it, but changed them back to verify and at least so far - the problem didn't re-appear. Even with options I'd expect to be the worst.

In case it comes back I'll try some more, but for now I can only advise anyone who gets the black drop shadow/ghosting effect thing on AirLink to "mess around" with their settings in debug tool, restart Oculus service from the menu there and do a quick check in Test Room to see if it's gone.

Meharock updated True Through - Native Passthrough Meta Bridge with a new update entry:

True Through 0.24 features update

Hi!

This is a pretty big update, so let’s take a look at some sweet new features:

Hands gallery

View attachment 638781

You can now browse available hands, pick your favorites, and import them.

New default hand textures

View attachment 638777

Cleaner and more refined! The old textures are still available too.

Smart occlusion

View attachment 638779

A flexible feature that helps prevent hands from disappearing too soon when they come...

Read the rest of this update entry...

I'm editing my post because I just found the plugin locations in the included README.txt file (for anyone else that feels lost). The only other issue I have now is that I found that Hand Tracking doesn't work through Air Link (because apparently the native PC client doesn't support hand tracking?) It works fine with the controllers though...
