First of all sorry if my English is too bad.

I don't have a VR headset yet, if you want to recommend one, that would be very nice. My main option now is the Meta Quest 3S 128 GB because it is not so expensive.

I want to use VAM with my Fleshlights. I have the shower mount. What I want to do is simply to put a model there so I don't only fuck the wall, but rather have a better experience. In order to do this, I need to align the model with my FL, so my first question is: Do I need to buy trackers as well? Are trackers really worth the shot? They are expensive. If I put a tracker on my FL, will they align automatically?

I've been using the search feature on this website, and I found a lot of celebrities that I would like to try. Do I have to purchase each model from the creator? Can all the models be aligned with a FL? Or do I have to get models that are specially designed for FLs

If I download models created by users, can I put any clothes on them? I mean, what is the level of customization? Can I make them strip before they put in a position aligned with my FL? Like create a scene before the action, I don't know if the question is well written .

Your english is better than many native speakers as your questions are written clearly.

I have a Pico 4 Ultra, upgraded from a Pico 4. This would be my suggestion as the best but will surely be more expensive, similar to the Quest 3. If your budget doesn't allow this, the 3S seems like a good compromise.
While I have trackers from my recent upgrade I have not yet put them to use and cannot advise about this. They will surely allow you to do things that will be more difficult otherwise, but since you don't have much VR experience yet I would say to skip them for now and evaluate after you've played around in VR for a while.

There's no models designed for a Fleshlight, person atoms are person atoms. Unless they're dramatically different or using different scales, changing one for another should not affect much in terms of alignment.
Your questions about clothing are too broad and can be answered with playing around with VAM. As a new user you should really really really check out the guides in the Wiki, they will save you a lot of time.

Yes you are right! I've been reading the guides and the youtube videos and most of my doubts were answered.
So basically, I can align any model to a FL, right? There is this creator, Dr.Vamenstein, who does an amazing job with celebrities!

The question that I have today is, How can I bring my own body to the virtual world? I saw a tutorial in Pornhub where you can "possess" a body and control it, but, would that require trackers? Or can it be achieved with the passthrough?
I have no experience whatsoever in VR so if you want to suggest something about VR in general to get me started that would be nice!
Thanks

Possession is a built-in feature, but much better is to use the plugin Embody which gives you a lot more features. With a standard VR headset you have 3 trackers already, the headset and two controllers.
If you're not possessing a person in VAM, you have virtual hands (also can hide them) and your headset is the camera. If you're possessing a person, Embody gives you a lot of freedom to pick what parts you're possessing and in what way. I often like to be in Passenger mode, essentially I follow the animations of the possessed person, you know, like a passenger in their body. You can do the other way around, where the person head and hands are under your control.
The scene you use will be more geared towards one way or another. If the person you want to possess is animated substantially, and you also want to have control over those parts, you may be struggling with the animation and potentially cause problems. Scenes from ispinox or Cuddlemocap for example give you some options on how you want to interact in the scene.
As you explore Embody, you can also see ways to have a controller intended for hands to be reassigned to another body part, the hip for example. This can give you an idea if trackers will be useful for you later on, but as you're in a budget for the headset I would not spend the cash on trackers until you're sure they will be very important for you.

As a VR newbie, I hope you don't come to a problem that a small percentage of people develop with strong nausea. Depending on the shape of your head, distance between eyes, all these factors will make the experience enjoyable or painful. I'm fortunate to not have any issues with VR, going on 7 years now and on my 4th headset. To me it was a revolution, earlier with porn with not bothering with 2D videos any more, then finding VAM that opened up a whole new world. Actually, when I found about VAM I purchased within 24 hours a much better headset than I had previously, had to experience it like that.
Passthrough is a mixed-reality feature, nothing to do with trackers or your body. Cameras in your headset capture the room you're in and mix it with what you see in the headset. It's like green screens on movies, it's about immersion, not possession.

You are very helpful! Thank you very much!
It is good to know that the controls that come with the headset are also trackers. My current goal is actually very simple, put my FL in the wall with the shower mount and align it with a virtual model and have fun, but without the body I think the experience will not be that good, this is why I ask this, I dont think I will be doing any weird movement, just walking, aproaching and fucking so I guess tracking the heap will be a necesity? Or I could use passthrough, and there I could see my own body and wouldn't require the possesion? Do I understand correctly?

The question about the body is because I would like to see the penetration. Here is an example of what I want to do
. This video is in German; it doesn't matter if you don't understand, but go to 12:58. I want exactly that, just instead of the hanging doll, my FL in the wall.

The primary focus of VR is not possession, it's immersion. Possession beyond basic head and hands movement introduces a lot of difficulties that you need to spend time learning to do and try to implement. Walking and fucking like you're in the environment is simple to say but difficult to achieve. You're not going to be walking around in an environment without adding plugins and have a decent experience with VAM to know how that can be done.
Things will make more sense once you have a headset and play around a bit with it, learn to use Embody, etc.

Thank you very much for taking the time and answer all of my questions!
I understand what you say, however, if I can not see my body I dont think I can feel the inmersion that I am looking for, in the video that I shared with you it is exaclty how I want it, did you see it? Minute 12:58
My current roadmap is the following:
1 Install the free version, which I just did
2 When I learn as much as possible about the program, I will buy the VR headset
3 When I know enough about the VR and the program, I will buy the paid version of WAM
4 When I master both the program and the VR headset, I will buy the models that I want from creator that I like

It is impresive how much I could discover but just playing around with the default scene, at first I could not place the character in the way I wanted because I though the Atom had missing "nodes" I was not able to place her with the legs spread open because I though that I needed a "node" on the knee, but I discover that is all about the feet... So I am learning I will dedicate 30 minutes per day

Oh, man, your roadmap is so unrealistic that I'm laughing. I don't mean it in a bad way, it's just that:
  1. The free version is shit considering you can only use built-in content which is incredibly outdated, as in, nothing you can see in the Hub is available for you to try
  2. This is a sandbox that takes a longggggggggg time to explore and learn, not a game
  3. It's 10€ for the creator key which unlocks all options in VAM. It's one of the best and cheapest investments you'll ever make as it doesn't need a recurring subscription
  4. You'll never master VAM and all the things you can do with it, trust me
VAM is going to be a hard road (no joke) on many accounts, but holy shit, this is like living in 2069 already, there's nothing out there that comes remotely close to the things you can do with this.
You have no idea how many hours I've counted in VAM making stuff, it's an unbelievable number. There's no damn game that would make me spend anywhere near the time I spend making stuff with this, it's so addictive.
You'll also be amazed at the new things you might be into or willing to try but did not expect it, it's a crazy world in here.

P.S. if you're into celebs, which is probably 90% of my looks collection, take a look at the creators Vecterror and Bamair1984. You'll forget about your list and pay for VAM (creator key) today!

There are options for more interactive scenes where you can see your body. But i guess we aren't quite there at the current time. At least not in a casual, hassle free consumer friendly way.

This should be some interesting inforrmation for you, you could search for "interactive" and try out some scenes and plugins:

I think i remember that there are even more guides and discussion about these topics here on the hub, you may find more.

I wanted to do something like you; i got several pico trackers for feet and the waist + both hand controllers and the vr headset itself. Also got Ultraleap for detecting my hands and fingers without controllers. You can then control a body and see it, and move in the scene. But it is far from realistic or comfortable. Most of the times it is a pain in the ass to setup (there are some great plugins, but still) and then there are still a lot of problems and errors. I gave up on using it. The picos trackers not being that good may be one reason for it. I think vive trackers may be better.

Regarding nausea: you can train that away. I didn't have problems before VR (some already have problems with normal 3d games), but after buying a set for Half-Life: Alyx i got head and stomach aches after 30 minutes of playing. But it will get better with time, body and mind need to adapt. It is called "vr legs" that you need to get. After ~2 weeks i was able to play for 2 hours without any ache. Every person is different though.

Ignoring your true goal for a moment i would recommend VR anyway: regarding games there are a few brilliant experiences. But also when you just use standard VR porn, it is a new and great experience. And even a lapdance experienced in VaM with VR is another thing. I am glad i started with VR.

I am so waiting for haptic gloves or even suits becoming more of a standard. :D

Uffff, that sucks. I'm lucky to never have experienced anything like that, was great from the start. Well, besides the uncomfortable part of having a weird helmet on your face and nose :)

When I went to VR porn I never again bothered with regular porn, a clean cut.

This is definitely something amazing and unforgetable. Changing the look makes it feel like you have 100 different scenes with that single scene.
If I were to showcase VAM to a friend, my choice to blow their minds would be Champagne by CuddleMocap.

The first resource that you shared may be good enough, I get a body I will try it out! Thanks

I just checked the Pico trackers on Amazon, this is the type of thing that I didn't know existed, and I learn by asking, they are way cheaper than the Vive trackers.
Do you think I could achieve then just hip control? No walking, no hands, just the avatar standing there, and hip control so I can see the penetration while I control it.
I would like the Meta Quest S3 128 GB and the pico trackers, they are the cheapest combination, but cheap is not always good LOL

I haven't yet used mine beyond the simplest things, but I think for hip control one of these will do just fine. Where they start to lose is when you want more precise control to mocap for example. For precision you probably have to go the lighthouses route, careful fixed placement, etc, but hip thrusting or hooking up to the fleshlight is probably no problem.
I don't know if the Pico trackers can work with a Quest as they're made for Pico devices though.

I also don't know if Pico trackers work on other headsets, but i can't imagine it. There are also more options, for example SlimeVR. I watched lots of videos and i personally wasn't convinced of the quality of the motion tracking, but for the hip it should be enough. Sadly the Pico motion tracking isn't that good, either. I am especially disappointed with the waist tracker. I also tried owoTrack where you can use your mobile phone as a waist tracker, that may be your cheapest (free) option if you have a half decent phone, it needs a gyroscope for that. It got it working, but i had problems with the offset and the tracking wasn't that good. But other people swear on it.

I would try to setup my Pico + trackers again to showcase, but as you are settling for a Quest that wouldn't help you. There are tons of videos on youtube for different tracking setups where you can see the possibilities and quality.

On a side note: i just subscribed to CuddleMocap and you were right, the champagne scene may be the best mocap scene i have seen so far, so thanks for the info!

I just hope the music used doesn't play somewhere with people around me, the Pavlovian boner would be hard (pun intended) to hide.

I heard there were some firmware updates some months ago on the Picos that supposedly improved considerably the tracking results, so maybe a retesting on their performance is in order, hopefully you get better results.

Thanks!! This is the type of thing that I need to investigate more, the trackers all the types that are available!

@atani
Just look at this!!!! This is what I want and how I want it!! Offcourse a male body instead of a female one, this is actually more of what I want, way way more, i dont need to walk (I want to but I dont need it for the experience that I am looking for to achieve) I dont need to grab things, I only need to be able to see a body for myself and move the hips that's all!!!

I changed my roadmap following your advice, the thing is that I still need to wait in order to purchase the key, because next week I am travelling to south america for 2 weeks, and I am only cariying a cheap Chromebook, so If I purchase the subscription today I wont be able to use it for 2 weeks.

My roadmap now is more simple, when I return from my trip I will purchase both the headset and the key and I will do my best to learn everything that is needed, doing experiemts with both, when I achieve a similar result as shown on that video I will go to the next step
