Question Will there ever be a standalone Quest version of Vamx?

It seems unlikely. VAM is very hardware-intensive, and a Quest simply doesn't have the power to deliver the quality that a decent PC can. Plus, it would require re-developing the application from the ground up.

Quest 2 has the performance of a mid-range phone from a few years ago. Even current high-end PC's struggle with VaM....don't have numbers at hand, but I'm guessing that's a factor 10-20x performance difference?

Some people experimented with streaming to Quest from cloud services like Shadow PC, though. However, there lag will always be an issue causing motion sickness.

What I envision would be a way to export single scenes that could be loaded on the quest sort of like a stand alone app/game. There would be no ability to edit the scene or appearances in the exported scene app, and maybe it could be optimized somewhat for the quest at the time of export, like the give me fps plugins do?
