I just think the old directory layout which was more like a shop was better for the customer and for growth of the platform, just my opinion. There needs to be something like it here where the images of the products are shown with lots of rows and columns of images. I think by giving the user the ability to see huge amounts of thumbs very quickly that was growing the platform because it means you get exposed to the best stuff in that large search net very quickly (even if you don't really know what to look for|) which is essential to grow the platform. Also here your scrolling down and the screen space is not used with images.
