Question Want to edit var files.

I downloaded a particular VAR file from another creator that I want to mess with and add things to that it doesnt have, I know how to open the file and gain access to the .assetbundle file but how can I actually open it and edit it? I have blender but that doesnt seem to like VAM files because they dont show up, do i need to download Unity? The file is a view of basically hentai internal organs, i want to add something where it looks like hes "filling her up" to add for my own amusement, Im not looking to pirate and redistribute the respective owners work, I only want to for my personal use. Assetbundles are done in Unity.
