Hi, I’m completely new to creating scenes. I learned how to change poses however I don’t know how to move my characters in a scene. Is there like a plugin where you enter starting coordinates for a character and destination coordinates? How do you make your characters walk? Thank you.

The easiest way for now if you don't have access to some VR trackers is the complete locomotion system. https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/complete-locomotion-system.16913/

Set a target for her to follow, which could be a light, an object, or an empty atom. Animate the motion of the target in Timeline https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/timeline.94/

From there, tweak the parameters in the Complete Locomotion System to your liking. It will look really unnatural at first, but with some experimentation, you can come up with some pretty good results!

Thank you a lot! It all makes sense. Could you also explain the first half of your response about the VR trackers. What’s that and how do I access it. Thank you.

Oh! I mentioned the VR trackers (I use Vive tracker 3.0 https://www.vive.com/us/accessory/tracker3/) I mentioned them because if you have a VR headset, you can possess your model and record the motion - walking, gesturing, more naughty stuff, whatever you want! That process is a lot more involved. I prefer to record my motion capture directly into the Timeline plugin. So I brought it up just to suggest that motion capture is another great way to bring your models to life.

Then there is the hybrid method I also like to use to animate, which is to assign keyframes in Timeline while in VR. I tend to use a mix of VR/motion capture and manually clicking my keyframes in Timeline using the mouse in desktop mode. Good luck!
