I just upgraded from a 5600x with 64 gigs of ddr4 and a 3070 to a 9800x3d with 32 gigs of ddr5 with a 9070 xt and noticed VAM is crashing a lot. I can load the default scene and the preloaded scenes without issue but can't load any downloaded scenes. I sifted through the logs and right at the end I think I'm getting an out of memory error. I used to get these crashes from time to time before I upgraded. Is it because I'm using 32 gigs instead of 64? also, it only crashes at the end of loading, like right as it's about to finish loading a scene. Below is the section of the log that shows the OOM error. I've also attached the log file. Any help would be much appreciated.

You should not crash (pretty much ever) with an out of memory with 32gigs, unless you're loading several scenes back to back without ever hard resetting.

Ensure you have proper memory management in Windows ( I don't know if you have reinstalled or not ).

Yeah that's what I'm not understanding, before I upgraded I was only crashing after loading several scenes in a row. Now I can only load the pre installed scenes. I ended up buying more RAM on Amazon just to test it out. I'll reply back here if that changes anything.

If you're able to "overflow" 32gigs, you're not loading "several" scenes in a row, but a LOT lol.
Don't buy more RAM for this, simply hard reset often.

Make sure you don't have another process eating up memory, like a web browser. Windows Task Manager is your friend...
