Up and down axis not working - Reverb G2

I am limited by forward backward, side to side. I used to be able to move up and down but no longer. Is this a G2 issue or some setting in Virtamate?

I would press the controller joystick down and be able to move in the translational axis up-down-left-right-forward-back.

BOTH your hand controllers need to be active. If one controller goes to sleep mode (because you didn't use it for a while) VaM switches to a different control mode where there is no up&down. So, press a button on both controllers to make sure they are both on and recognized by VaM.

There’s also a box that you can uncheck in the VAM menu that says something along the lines of “lock player height”. I have to uncheck this every time I start a new game or I can’t move up/down when I’m using my oculus.

Click the "click for more options" button right below the UI toolbar and uncheck "Navigate Lock Height".
