Appreciate there are some improvements coming in 1.20 for Trigger Actions, but could you also consider the following:
- When switching Receiver Atom, the Receiver and Receiver Target values should not always be reset. For example, if you have a trigger that sets the intensity of a light atom called "Light1" - you should be able to change the Receiver Atom to "Light2" without having to re-select the Receiver, Receiver Target and intensity values (currently when you change the Atom it always resets Receiver to "Animation" and Target to "None". This is particularly useful when duplicating trigger actions, as at the moment its not really possibly to duplicate an action and apply it to a different Atom - without choosing all values again (which defeats the point of duplicating). Obviously if you switch to an Atom that doesnt support the Receiver and Target, then it will need to reset (e.g. if you changed Atom from a light to a person type).
- Currently, if a trigger is targeting a plugin parameter and the plugin is reloaded then the Receiver Target reference to the plugin is lost and the Trigger action has to be setup again. This is particularly problematic in complex scenes where plugins are referenced a lot from triggers and then the creator needs to update to a newer plugin version (for example). All of the triggers that reference that plugin now break and it can be very time consuming to track them down (and its not immediately apparent that anything has broken).
