is there a way in timeline to make a custom unit object change color back and forth with time. for example red than gold than red than gold....etc. Thanks
Timeline can do whatever you want as long as you have access to the variables.
If you have a script that can control the color of your CUA, then yes. If you don't, then no.

You need to add a target to control the color. Look in the target "+" tab, then Storable float, and look for the plugin, then in the param dropdown you should find the color.
