• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

ScreenTools - Easily rotate the screen 90 degree to support high-quality widescreen capture.

Easily rotate the screen 90° to support high-quality widescreen capture.
It also provides a shortcut key to do the correct full screen.
Unity's full-screen shortcut "alt-Enter" can often be difficult to use. Why not use this plugin's shortcut "Ctrl-Enter" instead? Achieve correct full screen.

Thanks for this, much appreciated.

How would be the best workflow with standard video editing software to rotate it and keeping the full resolution?
I.e. I have 3840x1600 and want it 1600x3840 in full format without cropping?

Nvm, found out ;)

Ver2.0 Small feature additions and bug fixes.

Fixed an issue where the Hub screen and file open UI would become slightly misaligned when rotated repeatedly.
Also, a small function has been added to clear the right side of the Window screen using the shortcut [ctrl+Enter].
Some people will find this useful for tasks such as scripting and texture editing.
Please feel free to write your opinions and wishes.

Would it be possible for this to finally let AMD users utilize AMD Fluid Motion Frames? For some reason it just won't kick in.. And thank you for the plugin <3

Ver4.0 Stable Bug Fix

Fixed a small bug. However, right-click tumbling is not possible in rotated views. Also, if you open the HUB screen or SceneOpen UI while in rotated view, you may not be able to press the button to return to the scene. If that is the case, we have prepared a RESET button at the top right of the UI, so please try it.

YOU NEED to release these Scenes to demo your plugins!
Makes it easier to get started and will get your plugin into more hands.

Thx 4 this wonderful plugin~
May i ask if it's possible to add changable keyboard shortcut for turnning on/off the topside UI and switching to each camera angle?

Hello.
If you edit the script, change KeyCode.Alpha1 to KeyCode.Alpha0 in the update function.can be changed.
Turning the UI ON/OFF may be a bit troublesome.
In any case, as you say, I would like to provide a mechanism that allows for free customization.

Is it possible to save the camera view when rotated?
When I save with rotation and then load, the rotated screen is not saved

Hello:)
It is not possible to immediately rotate the saved json by 90 degrees when opening it.
This is because it becomes irregular data for VaM.
If you don't have the plugin, your data will be lost and you'll never be able to open it again.
To prevent this, the rotation is reset when saving.
As an alternative idea, the 90 degree rotation information is saved in the camera slot, so by pressing the camera icon again after loading the file, the rotated camera when saved will be reproduced.

Sorry I explained it wrong.
I'm using the plugin from LFE.Keyboardshortcuts.main
In there
Camera>look>tilt left, Tilt right, which I want to save in your screen plugin.
I want to save it in your screen plugin
It was a tilt, not a rotation, sorry for the confusion.

I want to save the scene in the photo above

Not compatible with Keyboardshortcuts plugin. The camera information stored is different from the camera controlled by that plug-in.Note that my plugin also allows you to tilt the screen to a different angle than 90 degrees. Have you tried it? Use the slider called ``CustomRotateAngle''

You're the best!!!
Thank you

Ver8.0 Small feature update

I created a checkbox in the plugin UI to disable shortcut keys (numbers 0-9 and arrow keys left and right)
Admittedly, they tend to conflict with other uses. Thank you stayblocky for the advice.
Other additional features. The camera can track and move the target. You can keep the Person in the center of the screen even in scenes where the Person moves.
The tracking function (followCam) retains ON/OFF settings for each of the 10 cameras. It also records individually where it is being tracked...

This tool is great, smooth camera transition, good UI, some cool features! Thank you for making the shortcuts toggle.

The camera follow is a great addition, just unfortunate that it's so performance heavy. It's the same story with other plugins that control the camera though, so no blame!

For me the only thing missing now is the feature to save camera angles when saving the scene. Ideally they would be saved per atom, so you can have the plugin on multiple atoms and enable / disable them depending on what camera angles you need. Right now the plugin is great for personal use but without the camera settings saving I don't want to use it in my public scenes.

Great job anyways and I do want to urge you again to share some of your scenes and looks!! They look absolutely fantastic and are way above average from what we usually see on the hub. I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure you can share scenes using paid assets or not? You wouldn't share the assets ofc, but I for example have Miscreated plugins and would love some content for it.
The looks you created and the clothes you use are so so good. If you can't share them maybe make a guide, people would absolutely love it!

Hello. It is not assumed that "installing plug-ins in multiple atoms and switching between them" is possible. Camera angle information is stored in the hidden text atom "CameraChanger_UIText_temp" in the scene. It will restore the information from there again when opening the scene. If you install multiple plugins, the atom will be initialized. Basically it was intended to be used as a sessionplugin.

Thank you for the clarification!

Wow--your looks are the BEST I have seen anywhere in this game....you need to help me get those! Even if that involves combining multiple looks and everything--simply a guide that walked through the process would be worth paying for!

I think we can exchange information on Vam's official Discord.

Love this plugin @slimy! Maybe I missed it, but what's the button or method to have the camera follow the model as she moves? I see how we can setup camera positions and snap to them via a key press, but how can we make the camera follow her as she's walking away or dancing?

Thank you for sharing this!
