Please note the var includes a simple look scene and a look preset with vanilla hair/morphs/textures included. And throne CUA. Clothing and assets in screenshots are NOT included to keep dependencies simple; as in there are none.

My VAM looks are just the bare necessities, use your catalogue of other creators' hair/clothes/assets to create your own unique experiences.

Why not just show the look youre giving away?

Its a nice look but it is what it is without all the belles and whistles etc. You must be proud of it so why not put this image up front otherwise its a little misleading.

I cant see the benefit of showing what it could be when for most users it wont. This would be less misleading if you supplied a list of all the things you added to get to the image youre using to promote it.

Unless youre just after random likes from people who dont check? im sure thats not the case haha.
Imagine youre on tinder and you swipe yes to the look of 1 a super model girl but when you turn up to the date...shes much older with no makeup and has put on 5 stone..youd be a little confused lol

So consider using the actual image of the look up front...and adding a list of all that can make it great etc. If you did that I could give you a 5 star for transparency and quality.

I do show the actual look, it's a thumbnail in the overview page underneath where I explain why my screenshots aren't what you're downloading.
This isn't Tinder, it's a customizable 3d porn game. Many assets I use in my screenshots are items converted from copyrighted content so I cannot share them.
I understand your concern, but for me I'd rather have a strong base to customize a look to my liking, than to download a bloated var full of a bunch of duplicate items that lead to a slower VAM.

For my next series I'm considering using only items available free on the hub and including the proper dependency links to avoid such complaints. Anyway thanks for your comment I appreciate the feedback!

Remember this isnt a criticism or a complaint about your look which is lovely..but a suggestion from a user.

Think about it this way....I am a user.
I represent someone who is interested in your work and im a highly experienced vam user so if I download something and its not quite as it looked... its jarring , especially in vr and all this is about respect for all our time.

Youre not alone in this and your perspective is def a valid one... but so is mine and i am the user you are targetting , who actually takes time to look at what theyre rating (not always the case).

I only approach you with a view to helping you streamline your process ....which youve already admitted will be happening on the next set etc. This is less about you and more about VAM right now haha its a little wild wild west!

I am a prolific reviewer of vam material. I dont have time to use it lol but i take time to look at most things and give a little feedback if i like what i see or there are serious issues. And yes I was clearly able to make your look like the one in the photos you are using up front.

As you are not alone here ..this is what I show creators , as they might not be aware just how confusing vam can be when a creator looks at the PC page while the user often looks at the internal vam software resource hub.

Remember this is about the way you present your work to users and not the excellent base look.

As you can see you have the very best version of the look which despite being confusing for many makes perfect sense as you want people to click.

But then we have this as a representation of what the user will get if they download.
And downloading and setting up a look on most pc , especially in vr takes alot of time haha

As you can see the only visible images on the screen are all of the very best version of your look which uses paid assets i believe (?) and a fair amount of work to reach the very look the user was effectively sold on.

Consider users want the look you're showing...as that is what attracts most users. Also consider that despite you clearly stating that its just the basics...many vam users dont speak good english or any english or simply dont read haha (how low the bar is set).

And end of the day, here is your actual look....

would this be so much worse if it was your avatar / main image?
I think it looks great and leaves zero confusion for a user and no need to tinker to reach effectively another look entirely.

Ofcourse this is all free....and people can read...and scroll and edit a base look etc.
...but pls consider the above ...and how jarring in VR to get something so different than the featured image.

Just ideas for your consideration moving forward ? Thank you for taking the time to listen.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I don't just create for VAM, I'm also a consumer of assets on the hub and I agree with your assessment wholeheartedly. I assure you my future looks will be more upfront and I'll take the extra necessary steps to not bloat vars with duplicate assets by using a clean VAM installation only with freely available and easily retrieved depedencies that you will be able to download right through the VAM interface. Doing so will make the process of creating the looks a bit more tedious, but in the end is a better experience for the users who download my content.
