Would it be "ok" if i were to remake a scene from scratch from members that are no longer on Vamhub and still give them credit?

For example 14mhz's "View2atom" plugins are no longer available on VAMHub... and although the Camride functions 100% from Acidbubbles embody and Timeline without the "View2atom" plugin; I wouldn't have been able to have done the camride without it.

Another example; ABC was banned from my understanding, but they had a scene with animations that I plan to export out into a different platform to remaster it; And although I will be using Acidbubbles Timeline to remaster it; I am not the original animator and just adding a bunch of triggers on top of it to enhance the scene.

The liscense help page is down at the time me posting this:

I apologize in advance if what I plan to submit is not allowed as I am still a novice and reusing and learning from the work of others is how I am slowly learning how to do things.

It does not depend of the nature of the user leaving. If a content has been licensed a certain way, you are free to do what the license allows you to do.
It's common courtesy around here to ask the original creator when you want to repack something even tho the license authorizes it. But if the user is gone, the license is what matters.

So, be sure to enforce the license: a CC-BY-NC-SA allows you to repack it, but under non-commercial use.

If the a user is banned for instance , that means their content is probably one of the reasons, Stolen content or content that violates the guidelines etc. I think in this case the content would be unusable regardless of the license.

You took an extreme case, but yes in that case.

The View2Atom plugin is not gone from the Hub, it is unpublished. This means that either the moderators or the original creator did not wish it to be shared. The original license for this plugin is CC BY-SA, however. You can republish it under a different name, but it will also have to be licensed CC BY-SA by you.

Keep in mind that because the plugin is still on the Hub, and still downloadable in-game as a dependency, you will not be able to upload an exact copy of the plugin because the Hub will give you a "duplicate file" error.

@hazmhox is correct that the license will still be enforced even if you can no longer contact the creator.

In the case of creators who were banned for copyright infringement, you do run the risk of being reported for copyright violations if you use content and you don't know its origin.
For example, if a creator was banned for porting an asset from the Daz3D store, and you decided to take that content and publish it under your own name then you would assume the risk of harming your account or reputation.

We generally do not release information about why a creator was banned unless the creator has made the information public. Use content that is not on the Hub and that you did not create yourself at your own risk.
