Hello, I'm making an exercise machine and I wanted to make it move like in the video. I imported the machine rigged in Daz as fbx and added a collider to the orange arm and a hinge joint to make it move. It moves in VAM, but it doesn't apply to the timeline plugin and there's no way to parent link. I also tried the ik cua plugin, but it moves but the collider doesn't work. Is there another solution?

These are very basic motions. If I wanted to do it myself, I would probably do a plugin to control the rotation of the arms and the up/down position of the weights with a float and sync that with timeline.

This is probably the most straight forward and easy way especially if you want to sync it with a Timeline animation.

If you don't want to deal with unity animations and plugins, you could just split the model into the bench, weight stack and the two arms (setting the origin point to where the arms pivot). You could then add the parts as separate cua's and animate their position/rotation in timeline to match the persons motion exactly inside of vam. That would give you greater control over the animations final look.
