VaM 1.x Question regarding UI creation

[jamie110]

In the sxs4 scene, only one UI button needs to be moved, not all 94 of them. Also, each of the 94 buttons can play an animation—how was this achieved?

Go into Edit mode, check "Show hidden" in the atoms list in case those buttons are set to "hidden", and see what kind of triggers they use.
Please also make next time a better title, something short about the topic.

As atani said, next time name your thread properly (as suggested)... thank you : )

Moving a panel is done with parenting.
If you're not familiar with VAM's UI, I would recommend you to check VAMStory to create UI with the VAMStoryActions contained in the toolset. It's easy to create lots of buttons and customize their behavior.

I haven't check that scene, but this looks like it's done with the native UI. Which would be exhausting to create and very bad for perfs overall.

All the other buttons are parented to the first one. Moving the first one moves them all.
