Quest 2 quality looks worse than Rift S?

You have to consider desktop vs vr is vastly different because vr takes a lot more power to render. And I used to have a rift s and it ran smoother because it had a display port, quest 2 uses compressed data but it shouldn't look as bad as you are describing.
