Question Plugins not retaining settings

My plugins, no longer retain settings when I save the scene. Not sure why. I did remove a bunch of vars to free space, but none seem related to the plugins I have issues with. Are there any default VARS that I may not be aware of that are needed? What could cause my issue. Thanks for any insight.

There are a number of default VARs, but removing them shouldn't cause this. (If you want them back, you can use the VaM updater to "Repair" your VaM install.)

We will need way more info. Which plugin, which settings?
How does the scene look? Screenshot? Can you attach the saved JSON file here? (possibly the issue is loading again, not saving)

Thanks for the quick response. Let me look into it a little more and see if I can get more details. I did try the cache. I want to try the repair.
