We got hub-hosted var tag for "proper" packaging and hub uploads.
How about addition for externally hosted stuff (inside free category)?Maybe something similar to client hub indicators, in red?
If content is hub hosted but not var package (loose zip stuff), add bold red [Not VAR Package] tag instead.
Obviously guide category could be excluded from this, or if nothing is uploaded no need for tag.
Who knows...it might incline some creators to make package and/or do hub uploads?
Some users are sort of "fanatics" about hub-hosted tag, no matter what they have to add/fix it right away.
So having opposite tags might help achieve similar effect? (Maybe even improve overall quality of the content...or at least sharing part).
Basically you get 4 types of content:
1) hub-hosted var (current tag)
2) not hub-hosted
3) not var packaged
and 4) current no tag plebs (so you can tell without looking...if there are missing dependencies or not)
It's elementary level mind games...without asking "why u no var" or "why no hub"
Everyone loves positive stickers (likes, verified, approved, good, 5 stars, rewards...) =
??☀???
<--this is 4 leaf happy s%#t
but not everyone likes big red negative tags (dislikes, unverified, bad, 1 star, muted, incomplete...). =
?
‼??
sidenote (while on the 'feedback' subject):
Maybe reduce character limit on resource name.
So users can't write 2 rows of nonsense (like 50x underscores and what not).
There is "tag line" (smaller font and less 'in your face') if anyone wants to write a novel or tell people if content is [FREE STUFF]
(like we can't tell at glance or idk...maybe someone is looking for [paid stuff] inside free category).?
