How can I lock my character (model) into a pose and be unable to move it again? Basically I want to avoid accidental movement of my model but still keep all the auto behaviors such as breathing and eye contact.

Solution
The red and green dots are what is known as the control rig. They can have different states for both their position and rotation, which you can change in the atom control panel when you click on one of the dots. If the control node for a body part is set to "On", if you nudge the model, it will go back to the original position when you remove the force. If it is set to "comply", it will not go back after you nudge or move it and stay in the new position.

There is a wiki that goes into detail of what you can do. Here are some of the basics.

Thank you! I learned something new today. And if I set the control node to ON ( lock position) will I still be able to animate that node using the timeline plugin from acidbubbles?

You can only animate nodes with timeline when they are in the "on" state.
