VaM 1.x No green save appearance preset button

Downloaded a bunch of scenes and looks and now I can't figure out how to save a new preset. I enter a name and click the store (create new preset) button and nothing happens, no screenshot, nothing in select existing. Happens on any model. Anyone know what package is causing this or how to work it?

• Maybe you have a serious issue with VAM and should run a core check in vam_updater.exe.
• Make sure your VAM folder is not in a protected permissions folder like Desktop, Downloads, etc.
• Check your session plugins for anything that could be impacting this, or temporarily disable them all to test.
• Move out from AddonPackages whatever VARs you added since the last time preset saving worked to see if that's the source of the problem.

This is not an updated VAM version (or vanilla), the appearance preset tab does not have "Store" on the preset button.

• Ensure you're up to date as atani says
• Ensure you have a key that allows saving
• Disable any plugin that modifies the normal VAM behavior.
