atani updated NEXT with a new update entry:

Major changes with v7

There's substantial changes on the workings of the template, even if you don't notice much at first sight. Some new features were added, some were removed.
New or improved:
  • VAMMoan 2 - the female uses the new plugin, currently limited in options like voices, but it's ready for what the future development will bring
  • Arousal system for VAMMoan 2 - slow, average, fast arousal options that influence the moaning...

Minor changes in triggers

This is a minor update to improve triggers and scene adaptations
  • Trigger to disable VAMMoan when doing audio speech on other animations like intros
  • Pose override for other animations when starting from a non-Stand pose and the environment doens't have the same named animation
  • Longer pre-cum random time delays, useful when there's quickspeech bundles loaded so as to not cut off the lines or VAMMoan audio
  • VAMMoan stays enabled if there's no...

Major rewrite of the template structure

I rewrote almost all of the template's structure and triggers

And I think I've hidden my mistakes well enough for now.

A deep reorganisation to make it leaner, more flexible and logical

Control atoms

UI

Having previously unified the UI shown during sex animations and the main scene UI, I decided to separate it and redo many parts.
There's several reasons for that change, but I can say that this approach is easier to use, there's more freedom to expand and adapt to a scene needs, and I think it looks way...

The quickspeech doesn't seem to be working for me. I haven't had time to look through all the logic and stuff, but I did notice that when I click "add quickspeech bundle" it doesn't actually add a sound bundle to the audiorouter plugin

Hi,
The scene does not use the AudioRouter plugin. I was actually excited to make use of it when it came out but unfortunately the plugin does not work with folder organized audiobundles like I have. Perhaps a future update of the plugin will make this possible.
It's a couple of steps, but you need to follow the instructions:
"Load audio speech (female atom)"

You can use it on all NEXT based scenes.

I probably should have read the guide instead of assuming I could figure it all out on my own. I also meant to say the soundfromAB plugin, but got the names mixed up

The NEXT based scenes with voices come with that section already loaded, but the template doesn't, as can be expected, and the guide sure does help to understand the "modular" parts.

If you want to know more about how the voice packs work, not just how to load them, then the guide below explains it:
Not an easy guide to read though.

atani updated NEXT with a new update entry:

Super unified UI, new sex animation and more

Redone and unified UI++

Now the base UI for scene options and the UI that shows during an animation are unified and can be toggled between them at will. This means reduced screen clutter and better usability.
Thanks to hazmhox doing his wizardry on the VAMStory plugin, all UI image panels are now converted to a VAMstory plugin, and they look amazing. Much easier to make, control and manage them, and probably that saves some FPS...

Matured quickintro, extra body UI options, male giant variation, better randomness, etc

Finally an update that isn't just fixing mistakes but introducing some good stuff!!!

quickintro:

This feature is now more mature, tested and optimised.
From now on, this is my prefered way to introduce template themed scenes, like the existing "Make it up" or "A passing grade", and they are loaded on demand from the template scene.
This will also allow me to make changes to...

I have some missing icons. I can't see some buttons like the one to change voice, appearance, loading intro. The only buttons I see are the green button, and Hide UI, Select Pose and Reset Pose.
I double check, I don't have any missing dependencies.

Your other 2 scenes that doesn't rely on NEXT template work fine.

That is most odd, as all the buttons come from the same plugin. It would make more sense to see either all or none 🤔
Is there any error showing and do you have the latest VAMStory plugin version or my scenes support VAR?

Tagging @hazmhox (plugin creator) in case it's something that was reported regarding the plugin or ideas on what may be the reason.
Haz, for reference about the scene's UI, the mentioned buttons (left side buttons) all come from a single VAMSActions Custom plugin:

594159-6dba4d054af779ab6b3396ad49a3aebb.data

The first and third column buttons (from the left) are present but are transparent. They don't have any icon. And the button, despite being transparent, work. It was hard to notice them.
And I don't have any error.

I just tried it on a clean VAM and everything showed correctly.
The icons come from the atani.atani_scenes_support_stuff.8.var, which is in the dependencies. Are you sure you didn't miss downloading it?
Here's the link:
Download it and move it to the AddonPackages folder, it will overwrite an existing if there is one.
If the icons don't show but the buttons work, then it's not a plugin issue and sounds like the file above is missing or corrupt somehow.

Thanks also for reporting the problem you're facing. I think it's just the missing dependency, but it's good to know how something may fail and that I can find a solution for this kind of situation.

BTW, based on this report and changes on how I do things, I'm going to merge the contents of this file into NEXT, which I plan to update later today. By tomorrow update NEXT with the new upcoming version and this problem will be gone most likely.
