Question my clothing ui is diffrent between installs? (how to switch to checkboxes)

I have two different installs, and the clothing UI differs between them. I believe the older UI is the one with checkboxes (shown in the first image). I prefer this version, as the checkboxes work much better with my controller, even though it offers fewer options.

The second image shows the newer UI, which I do not prefer (it includes a "Remove all real clothing" button). I would like to switch back to the older UI.

Both of these installs are running in VR. I attempted to use the updater to revert to a previous version, hoping that might solve the issue, but I didn’t want to risk breaking my other install. So, I decided to ask here—how can I switch back to the other UI with the checkboxes?

You don't "switch back" sadly. Those are static UIs and if they have been modified there is a technical reason behind it... and there is no alternative.
You can rollback at best. But anything requiring VAM to be up to date won't work.

Do you possibly know which version has that ui? Also I am now also wondering do certain plugins or Models Etc need the new version or not work with it?

1.22.0.0 I think.
And yes, most of my plugins in their last versions use 1.22.x features.

When Meshed added the ability to lock and unlock clothing items, he ran out of space in the UI to show everything. So some of the options that had checkboxes got merged into that single dropdown. There was some discussion about that, but in the end, it seemed to be the best option.
