Have you looked at the crash log to see if there are any clues as to what could be causing it? If you are on discord send me a message and if you have time we can maybe do some testing where I send you versions of it with different plugins or assets removed.

Have you had a chance to run it on an install that doesn't have VamX installed?

Trying to run this on Quest 2 VR is laggy AF. I can't even open the goddamn menu to modify my settings. I get a solid 0.5 Frames per minute.

Not trying to discredit the creator. I can tell alot of effort went into this. Might consider lowering the environmental animations & special effects, lighting, reflections, etc.

For example, instead of lit braziers, use hot coals that glow or something. Flames are probably hungry on the system resources due to changing shadows & reflections caused from moving flames.

There are in scene toggles for most of the lighting/environmental elements (including flames) you can toggle on and off to see if it improves your performance.

That said I don't have a VR headset or any way to test VR performance and am making and running these on a 2014 i7 4770k cpu so it is hard to imagine any kind of modern build having worse performance.
