Question Leap Motion v2 it's ok for VaM ?

Hi ,

Has anyone had a chance to try out the new UltraLeap Leap Motion v2 ?

Is there any improvement over Stereo IR 170 or v1 ?
Compatible with VaM this Leap v2 ?

I had version 1 and it wasn't that great, but maybe version 2 works just as well and much better.

The leap motion 2 works great with vam. Has a much wider fov than the first one, and can reach my hands all the way out in front too.

i Have Leap Motion v2 and this are my experience:

The tracking range is very poor, I have tried everything, recalibration and updating my system

This indicate 160x160° but I think it's more like 40x40°

i set up Head Mounted XR Setting ON, Device Orientation Normal, mount with my headset and here the issue

- I can't put my hands on my waist
- If I start to move my hands from side to side it disappears almost at 40x40 range that's what I can say once again
- lying down I can almost reach private parts lost the motion and it is very annoying
- When I clap my left hand stops working for a couple of seconds
- If i aim point my open hand towards it disappears so i have to move my hands for it to reappear.

They say I can place more Leap Motion v2, but I prefer to invest in a VR glove
