Hub breaks resource inside client when updated without update post?

So there is option to upload new resource version (and attach new package) without using post an update option.
On hub(site) after uploading everything looks & works fine,
there is no new update post, no hub bumb or update date changes/indication
New resource is uploaded and download link (green) downloads new version normally.

But inside client... oh boy... deja vu (like min.reference issue all over again)
everything is broken

EDIT: after manually downloading on history tab (client) resource is removed from "check for updates" list (so it knows there is an update),
and inside package manage there is "open on hub" link (it opens correct page)...just link between updates is broken (by not using that update post?)
EDIT2: if i downgrade to 3.var and than "scan for update" it finds 3 > 4 update but not 5, for some reason on 5 it shows "in library open scene"?‍

first min.reference nonsense and now this, can't tell how much pissed off i am right now.
Trying to share stuff in the most efficient/organized/no dupes/no100dependencies bs way...and this is what i get.
while others share & spam nonsense willy-nilly... i am done sharing stuff on hub
