Question How to make this male animation?

Saw this male training animation YouTube video and sadly it does not appear to be availble on the HUB as a scene I can download so can anyone tell me how they think it was done? If through motion capture, is there a tutorial on how to do this? Or if it was all key frame animation, never mind, I don't think I'll have the patience for that. I like to play with the male models and would love to have something like this.

It looks like motion capture to me. It's also possible that it's a canned BVH animation that's been imported..

Sorry, I'm a newbie, what is "BVH"?

(Cancel that, I googled it and at first some architecture firm came up but digging deeper it looks like these are Blender files?)

They're motion capture files. Here's a pile of them.

To use them in vam, get the bvh player plugin.
