Tried Virtual Desktop option, .bat file still opens as as txt file when I'm clicking on it. SteamVR also still running when I'm just launching Vam.exe.Dont understand what Im doing wrong.(Probably buying VR for VAM in a first place)

Hahaha man I use your stuff in VR, did you actually rename your bat file correctly? Like did you change the file extension to .bat?

Well,unfortunately I cant run my own scenes in VR. I tried to rename _.bat. and _.bat ,it still stays as txt file

Thanks,I think I got it,but needed to google it tho. Btw can you say what avg fps you getting in my scenes if you using them? Specific ones?
Bcs for me its 20 fps,on 3080.Tbh I expected much more

Not going to lie, your scenes are heavily unoptimized in VR, very low fps. That's why a lot of VR scenes are more lightweight

The recent one is good optimized as for me,esp for 3 chars,cant be better,I had only 3 lights there

Good luck, the road to optimizing VR in VAM is the most painful one

VAM 2 cannot come sooner

What you're doing is basically the same thing as a bat file, and yes open composite is very different as it's using a different runtime, but does not work for everyone

It depends. For some they get a a very minor performance boost, and also for those who don't use virtual desktop or oculus headsets, they can try open composite

No I mean, I had this problem since allways (from the day I installed Steam VR) Didn't try ur tutorial yet. But I'll doit if you say I can fix it, maybe in some BAT/INI could be the autorun line.

What do you mean by that? Needs more explanation. Check your audio output devices in Windows to make sure it's sending to the correct audio output

Windows audio is very buggy sometimes. Go check and make sure it's the correct windows audio source

I've tried the bat file method for virtual desktop without any luck. Made the file, made sure it is a bat file, and that vd is running but when I click the bat fill it opens a command window for a split second and then nothing happens, vam doesn't launch. Any advice please?

Did you link it to the correct path? What is your folder path?
