how to import clothes?

HI! Can anyone explain in detail how the export of clothing to VAM works? I tried to figure it out, but I couldn't. Maybe I'm too stupid :-( It was written on the forum that when importing clothes, they are tied to the atom grid, but when I import clothes for a character who is not in the T-pose, the clothes appear in the right place, but they are tied to the wrong place. I see that some creators make clothes almost without distortion, but I don't understand how it turns out, damn, I just want to understand how it works
