I exported a standard model from VAM in .obj format, loaded it into Blender, and created a morph. What should I do next? How do I apply this morph to VAM?

You can use my guide to do exactly this - https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-to-blender-to-vam.3759/

I would only use my method if I had an existing vam girl I wanted to do and only if those mods are skin deep things like nose shapes etc as there is no way to update the bone rig doing it this way.

You sound like you are just sculpting on the base model, in that case you should export the model from daz directly, it needs to be the base resolution model or you wont be able to reimport the changes as a morph as daz only aloows users to make base res morphs. Remember the scale you exported out from daz as you need to use the same scale to being it back to daz. Also in blender you need to use a special obj importer/exporter that will keep the vert order since the standard obj import/export removed this option in 4.x+ The Dazgen importer/exporter is included in chokaphi's Daz generations plugin. The other thing to remember is you cannot change the topolgy at all, so tools that create or remove polys cannot be used or daz will error you when you try to import the morph with morphloader pro. Once in daz you need to adjust the rigging to shape in the bone tool and then performs an erc freeze on the morph to lock in the rigging update before saving as a modifier asset.
