Question How to I move an atom without messing up the timeline play back when I reload the scene?

I'm trying to take some atoms from a prexisting scene with a nice animation, and move the person atoms to a different spot in a different environment. This works ok, except when I save the scene and load it later, the people don't move. If I go into the timeline plugin and manually hit play, the character has a seizure and winds up in a weird position. Is there something else I should be doing?

On a similar note, sometimes I want to move a body part slightly, but keep the animation. In one example, the character I loaded had a bigger dick, so the hand of the other character giving a handjob needed to be adjusted, but the hand just springs back into the same position. I assume I need to override this in the timeline with a new keyframe, but if I move the line over the keyframe and then reposition the body part, I'm not sure how to save over the old keyframe.

Thanks!

You may find it's easier to move the environment to align it with the animation rather than moving the person atoms.

For the hand position change, in timeline click on the targets at the top, and select the controller you want to change on the far left hand side so that only that controller is shown as active on the right. Then skip through the animation with the f> button. When you get to the animation frame you want to change, moving the controller to the new position should overwrite the key frames.

About editing a keyframe: Make sure "Lock" is not set in the option menu:
