I have been trying to use the SoundFromAssetBundle plugin with timeline, but the sound cuts out and I can't figure out why. As an alternative, I would like to extract the sound file (as a mp3 or wav) and just play the single file from a timeline trigger.
Thanks for any advice!

Unity Assetbundle Extractor.

Thank you for the info and the fast response! I was just going to try to extract a few sounds from the SoundFx asset bundle which is "Royalty-Free sound effects audio is from pixabay.com". Its also just for personal use. Certainly a good point to make sure.
However, I can't find the Unity Assetbundle Extractor. Is it on a different site, or am I missing something?
Thank you again!

Yeap it's a standalone application. UAB should help when searching.
Thanks for the additional info! Unfortunately I am still struggling... I tried the UABE, but there was no executable and looks like it was archived 10/25. That page suggested trying UABEA (Avalonia), but that program got an error "This doesn't seem to be an assets file or bundle". Tried AssetRipper, which could read the AB and extracted files, but not the audio files (total assets size 76Kb but the var file is 257Mb). Do you have any suggestions about what to try next?
